Mulitple lights seen over Mesa, Az New Years 2012

approximatley at 11:55 to 11:58 pm dec. 31st 2011, 6 individuals witnessed 2 lights appear southwest of mesa skyline then a third light appeared as they all slowly moved to the east and slowly began to fade and disappear. all having a reddish orange color. then within a minute or two we witnessed two lights of the same color appear to the northwest of the mesa skyline moving slowly south one above the other almost paralell to each other. both lights seemingly closer than the first group witnessed. as we watched them slowly move just to the west of our location heading south to southwest the bottom light appeared to speed up and pass the position of the light above it. as they slowly moved towards the south they again slowly started to fade and disappear. almost appearing to move towards the west as they faded and finally disappearing into the night.
