While walking my dog, I noticed several orange/red lights in the sky. The number is an approximate guess as a row of townhouses was in my line of sight just below the lights. I positioned myself to make sure I wasnt just seeing ambient lights reflecting onto the house that appeared to be beneath the lights but as I did it became obvious the lights were indeed in the sky. I brought my dog inside the house and called for my wife. By the time she came outside, I tried to point her at the lights but she was focusing on local air traffic. Ilookid in the exact same spot I first saw the objects bt by this time only one was visible. It disappeared before I could get my wife to see it. I drove to a local spot with exceptional views for miles but saw nothing but standard aviation traffic.
