# strange lights seen over Rt 209/33 near Snydersville Pa
3 spheres of light seen over Rt 209/33 near Snydersville Pa. Was NOT airplane or helicopter. Front light moved slowly at first and stopped just above highway just before Snydersville exit on Rt 209/33. Lights were aligned from East to West, spaced about 1/2 mile to 1 mile apart. There was no sound, and airplanes going in same direction near craft gave accurate size comparison. I am an avid amateur astronomer, and these were NOT planets nor stars. I drove under the nearest one, the one furthest eastward. I pulled off of Snydersville exit to get gas, and several people were observing the lights. At this time the light moved again. I only observed the front one move, slightly to the south then quickly to the north, and then stop, and to my knowledge there are no (unclassified) aircraft that can do that, or make the maneuvers that it made. What was the most unsettling and what took my attention the most is the lack of any sound coming from the craft. I was coming from Stroudsburg Pa when I first noticed these lights, and thought them to be airplanes or helicopters. As I drove about 4 to 6 miles closer, I realized they were not. There were other craft in the sky, but I was able to correctly identify all of them as planes except for the 3 strange lights.
