Green fireball seen west of Marathon, NY.
Green fireball seen while driving. Fireball descended at a flat trajectory with a burning trail behind it. Chunks appeared to be coming off and burning up behind it. It came down at about a 45 degree angle.
My vehicle was traveling northbound approaching Marathon, NY; and the fireball was seen to the west.
Fireball appeared to extinguish before it reached the hilltops, no explosion.
No sound noted as I was in a moving vehicle.
