"fireball" spotted over University of Kentucky campus
I went out on my balcony for a smoke and was just looking off in the distance at the sky and then this "fireball" appeared out of no where and was traveling horizontal at an extremely high rate of speed, it was leaving behind it a bluish-purple-whitish color changing stream behind it, then just as quickly as the "fireball" appeared it vansished and then the color changing stream left behind it disappeared.
This all happenend in under 10 seconds of time, I was awestruck by this sight and anticipated it to crash to earth but it disappeared so quickly after I saw it come out of seemingly no-where. This was a completely silent thing, I can not judge how far away it it was from me either.
