I live on the border of Issaquah and Bellevue in the foothills of Cougar Mountain.
I looked up at the sky while talking on the phone and noticed what I thought was a shooting star dropping to the South at 10:12pm. It was brighter then the North Star which was also in my line of sight looking South West & up.
As I turned a few inches to the South West to see the moon the light was still dropping to the left.
I turned quickly and mentioned it to the person on the phone as I watched it drop slowly, then quickly disappear to the South West (as if it took a quick right turn).
