UFO's over Skagit County, Washington - Summer 2010/November 2011
Skagit County, Washington Summer 2010 my boyfriend and I were laying out on our deck enjoying the sunshine and we noticed what looked somewhat like a B-52; although clearly was not, flying overhead. This aircraft was flying at a very slow speed and could move horizontally and vertically. We were able to watch it for about 15 minutes. I tried to take a picture of it but it did not turn out well at all.
October/November 2011 I am a night owl and we live in a relatively rural area. I am always out watching for raccoons so they do not get the feral cats and typically am watching the night sky. Lately I have noticed several bright lights that do not appear to be stars nor satellites (yes, my boyfriend already said that I was probably seeing a satellite, but I am college educated and have taken numerous astronomy classes, so I definitely know the difference) There are two distinctly bright orbs that appear to be relatively close. They seem to set off some type of flare or flash and seem to illuminate. Around the two brightest orbs dimmer orbs seem to come and go. The bright object and the dimmer objects are very distinctly positioned, so these are not just some random lights, they are patterned.
Early this morning, Sunday, November 20, 2011 I was looking in one of my typical observation spots in the sky (same place we saw the aircraft object last summer) and all of the sudden there was what appeared to be a very slow shooting star and/or comet type object except I could see a disc like object in it and it left a very visible trail. The disc disappeared; almost as if it were going into a wormhole or time warp, yet the trail of smoke or cloud lingered on beyond the time I stayed to observe (15 minutes+) I had never seen anything like it. The sky was clear and my visibility was excellent. I felt lucky to have seen something so amazing.
I decided to go online and search UFO sightings in Skagit County, Washington to see if there are any other night owls or sunbathers who have spotted these phenomena? I will continue to watch, most of the time I feel like I am being watched in return. It is very odd.
