11/18/11 Asheville NC cigar 2-3 min. black bee-shape/sections, square wings, 2 headlights, no sound, along busy highway
Object dark black "bee shape", no sound (rolled down window to listen for a sound, as we first thought it to be a helicopter from a local hospital,or an airplane,but was not heading in that direction for either), only 2 lights, as noted similar to an airplane headlights, no strobe lights, no colored lights; bee shape, because it was in several sections (as seen from underneath, while driving along Hendersonville Road). Had wings, but more squared-shape,mostly black all over, with orange or red lines denoting the sections from underneath.
Saw it while turning into a drive that led to a parking lot. Once we looked back, it had disappeared. And, what was striking, it had been moving slowly, and lower than an airplane would fly, especially in that area. My friend and I compared notes on what we saw; was unable to get a photo, but definitely was not a notable object to this area.
