Half mile long string of blinking lights that we observed for 40 minutes
We saw a long string of blinking lights. We would estimate it at a half mile long. There were about 16-20 lights that were blinking. They were in a nearly straight line. We were traveling on Highway 89 towards Kanab and lost site of the lights at about Big Water. The lights were traveling Northwest. They did not rise or fall in elevation or change in distance between the individual lights. We stopped the car at one point and could here no noise. The lights were white, but I would say that at times there was an amber cast to some of them. We started out watching them at 6pm on November 16, 2011 and followed them(traveled in the same general direction with them) for 40 minutes. We finally lost them at Big Water.
