October 22nd, 2011, 1:50am Waldenburg, AR, on AR-14. Triangular UFO.
My friend and I were passing through Waldenburg, Arkansas on our way to Little Rock. It was somewhere between 1:40 and 2am. Just a few hours ago. For the record: it is October 22nd, 2011. We were headed down AR-14 going toward US-67. It wasn’t long, after hitting Waldenburg, we saw it. We’d pass the closed liquor store and over the railroad tracks. We were just riding and talking with the cd player on low. If you’ve rode down AR-14 at night you notice the red lights on the towers. I’d noticed those because I was watching the road pretty closely to avoid deer and other animals that like to jump out in front of vehicles. We were passing one of the towers, when out of nowhere, just above us, appeared this huge, dark, black, triangular shape, with three, eerie, and distinct red lights on each corner. I hit the breaks because it freaked me out. I yelled for my friend to look. We both leaned forward and looked up into the sky while still slowly driving at about 3! 0mph in amazement. As it passed over us, or rather we passed under it, I begged her to look out the back window and see if it was still there. I turned the music completely off to see if I could hear any engines. It was completely silent. It seemed to me that the craft was hovering, directly above us. It wasn’t much higher than the tops of the trees. The lights flashed on and off but not in a specifically timed manner. For lack of better words they sort of dimmed up and down. Never completely off. Whatever was above us was a solid object because within the triangle the stars weren’t showing and all around the object the stars were visible. My first thought was, “Oh my god this is a UFO!!”. My second, was to stop and try to take a picture, but my friend was freaking out as much as I was. She talked me into staying in the car rolling up the windows, locking the doors, and flooring it until we hit the interstate. I didn’t know what to do. I thought about calling the police bu! t they’d think we were insane. We picked up our friend just ou! tside Li ttle Rock and headed back the same way we’d come. It was a few hours later, and feeling braver, we’d tried to figure out logical explanations. The object was gone by then. Whatever it was must’ve descended straight down because we hadn’t noticed it driving toward it. I don’t know of any craft that silent. At least not one that’s also able to descend straight downward so quickly. We tried recreating our first pass by but to no avail. I have no idea what I’d seen. We both agreed on what we saw. Even what it looked like. All I know is after seeing it I must’ve been driving 80-100mph the rest the way toward Little Rock. I was honestly disturbed.
