2011-10-15 - Lees Summit, MO - Changing

Shape-shifting triangle craft hovered right above us.

The date is approximate and the month might be inaccurate, but here it is.

A couple buddies and I were heading back to lees summit from blue springs. I was driving. It was late 2 or 3 am and we had been to a few parties where we did a little drinking but we werent in no way trashed. we were all about age 19 at the time so I was taking the back roads trying to dodge police.. from woods chapel we went left on todd George and just as we were coming to the traffic light on colbern rd I noticed something odd in the air. As I came to the red light I was trying to figure out what this was... it was this big ball of light. It almost looked like a big ball of fire.
It was stationary in the sky but within the ball itself I seen that it was like pulsating all throughout itself(like a ball of fire would look with the movement of all the flames). So were now stopped at the light and I look over at my friend in the passenger seat(my other buddy is squeezed in behind me in the cab of my truck) and I asked them if they see this thing, within the 2 seconds I took my eyes off this thing it had completely changed shape and now were looking at this triangle shaped craft. It was so low i think i could have hit it with a rock... Maybe 150ft up. It sat stationary making no noise just hovering in the same spot. The light turned green but we didn't move and it was now red again . We were all speechless for this entire time basically and even after..on thr next green I started to accelerate and right when I did the craft followed slowly behind us. It never made any quick accelerations that I seen and neither on of my friends seen the ball of light that I initially seen.. we were going like 15 under the speed limit to try and keep it in view that's how slow it was going behind us. It just hovered over the housing along todd George and eventually we lost view. I was honestly getting worried I would be pulled over and go to jail for dui otherwise I would have followed all night.. we had never heard of anyone seeing triangles and we thought it was very strange.. we told our parents and some other people but that was it.. about two years ago I started researching and realized how common traingle sightings were and that made me feel better especially after reading so many reports that were similar to mine. Oh and for some reason I for the life of me cannot recall what the lights looked like on thr bottom of craft. I remember that there was lights though.. I asked my buddy and he said it had one on each corner and one in middle(like alot of reports).
