Triangular, almost hovering but very slow movement, 5 bright lights, no sound
I was driving near my house just after dark (7:20pm) and a strange light formation caught my eye. At first I thought it may be a helicopter because it was just barely moving (almost hovering), but then I realized it was much too large and made no sound. There were 5 large and equal size bright lights that formed an elongated triangle shape. Although the lights were bright, they didn't seem to shine in a beam but they did illuminated the boy of the object. It seemed to be moving very slowly, or almost pivoting at an upward angle. I re-focused on the road and hit the brakes, but when I looked up it was gone. I scanned the area for another 10 minutes and never saw it or any aircraft again. I estimate the object to have been 500-1000 feet off the ground and about the size of a medium to larger size passenger jet. The entire event lasted around 15 seconds...
