Orange 4 lights hovering north by northwest Macinaw Island
I was walking with my gf, to what looked like a campfire outside the Mission point hotel on mackinaw, which i heard there would be one that evening. As i walked to what looked like a small fire about 300 yards away. I noticed that there wasn't any sounds except the water crashing against the shore which was strange, I kept walking while she listened to the waves. She caught up with me and we continued walking as we got closer to the campfire the light seemed to appear further and higher away. Then i noticed that the one light turned to four circular shapes and were about 500 to 600 feet off the ground and climbing. I asked my girlfriend if she saw what i was seeing which she confirmed. The lights were spaced somewhat evenly and moved from my right to left heading north by northwest. Later that weekend at the wedding reception I heard a Bridesmaid talking to a friend of the wedding party we were with about something they saw the other night... Thats when I ! approached them both and asked if the lights were orange and he replied yes! and there were four of them. My first time there on the Island amazing trip.
Thought that It was worth sharing hope this helps someone who might think they saw something the same night.
