Invisible, Helicopter-Like, Strange-Sounding Flyby
Not seen, heard. My wife heard it too.
This was the second time I heard the same sound (first time was a year or two ago at the same location, North Woodmere Golf Course), something invisible flying by rapidly, or it was some weird sound effect from surrounding structures (its near JFK where jet engine testing and stuff goes on), but it sure sounds like something invisible is flying by very rapidly at low altitude, roughly toward the airport both times.
It was somewhat of a whoop-whoop similar to a helicopter, but a bit different.
We looked in every direction and saw nothing and had a good view in all directions being on a golf course.
