2011-08-14 - Grand Bay-Westfield, NB - Light

Light over house

I believe it was Sunday or Monday night (Aug 14 or 15 2011), between 9:30 – 10:00. I was driving with my son on the main road in Grand Bay when I noticed a bright light over a house. It caught my attention because it seemed like a bigger brighter street light but yet, too high to be a street light and seemed to be directly over a house.

I kept watching as my son turned up the street directly across from this house when he asked “What are you looking at?”

We then turned again onto a road parallel to the main road. He was very curious as to what I described and found a spot to stop so he could see between the trees. By the time I pointed it out to him it was higher in the sky, not quite as high as where a plane would be. As we watched it, it seemed to go straight up higher and higher until it was no longer there. I don’t normally post such things but he saw this with me and I am quite curious if someone else saw it.
