UNIDENTIFED FLYING OBJECT - Lycoming County, 7/29/11
An unidentified flying object reported to be a fireball of some sort, was seen approximately 2,000 to 3,000 feet in the air moving east from the city of Williamsport.
The SEOC confirmed with the Federal Aviation Administration and Lycoming County that there were no downed aircraft.
The SEOC also confirmed with the National Weather Service that there were no meteors reported or seen on their radar.
