Green light that darted and manuevered in amazing ways and large amounts of falling stars, etc.
We were camping off the Colorado River, in a very secluded area, on private land. You know how much better you can see the skies when you are in an area like this. There were no campfires or such, just a few battery powered lanterns, so it was really dark.
We noticed this greenish light in the sky. It would just hover, then it would dart off really fast (like a fish), and then would stop. It would then move in ways that no known aircraft or anything that I know of could move. It would move really slow, then dart, then completely change directions instantaneously.
We watched it do this for hours, as it would always return to about the same area. There was also at least 20 falling stars that night. There also were things that looked like falling stars, but would go strait up or across instead on down.
We also saw a quick two flashes like lightning, but it was not lightning. They happened in succession, really fast. There was never any more after that.
The light in the sky kept making off patterns and turns that I have never seen acheived before by any aircraft or satellite. It was very strange.
