Large neon blueish bright white light flying and hovering in all directions in NE Portland.
Three of us were packing our car for a camping trip in SE Portland and we witnessed a neon blueish bright white light hovering in the sky to the north anywhere from 5 to 15 miles.
It moved to the left very quickly, continued hovering at the same altitude. Then very quickly moved to the right. It continued back and forth in an almost pendulum manor. It descended towards the horizon to where we almost couldn't see it through the trees in our back yard. I could still see it though, hovering and moving large distances back and forth until it jumped back up in the sky and hovered some more.
It continued to move back and forth, up and down until it eventually decended at a sideways steady speed and disappeared from our view. Our 3 neighbors heard us yelling and came outside and saw it all happening as well. We caught a small glimpse of video. It will be online very soon.
Also, my personal phone wouldn't go to video mode and when I tried to post to facebook about what happened directly after the sighting it said something to the tune of "internet down try later" a message ive never seen, it was different than my usual out of service message.
