UFO 10-12 yards away from us! It shines it's spotlight on us!
We are not alone It begins around midnight. Friday, July 22, 2011. It was a clear night in the suburbs of Charlotte, NC. More stars out than usual.
My friend & I were looking at the stars, admiring their beauty. There is what looks like a really brightly shinning and blinking star off in the distant sky. We watched it for a spell of about 20 minutes. I thought at this point it must be a tower of some kind. I looked away.
Just then, this "tower" starts moving around. It's now a bright series if flashing lights that appears to be moving up, down, and side to side. I think my eyes are playing tricks on me. I look away from the lights and rub my eyes. I am done starring off into the sky. I am looking to my right, talking with my friend; when a bright, white flash in the sky behind the trees & right in front of me, catches my attention. "what ((deleted)) was that?" I exclaimed!
It was then, that my friend said, "it's that." (while pointing up to the sky, where the flash came from) I saw the cluster of lights (red, orange, & white) revolving around in the sky. It was high then low, high, low. It looked as tho it were flat. This was NOT consiststant with an airplane. Airplanes move in a straight line & have simultaneously blinking white & red lights. It was moving so fast! It turned it's big spot light towards my friend & I. I thought it looked as though it were headed straight towards us.
Then we could hear it's low sounding humm. It now had shifted shapes. It was now a sphere. It hovered over the nearest bunch of trees & then came down into our c
ul-da-sac. Just hovering there. It hummed along down our street and stopped right before passing us. It shined it's bright, white, spotlight onto us both as we just stood there, starring in awe & disbelief. The UFO was now about 12 yards away from us. It turns it's light back to it's path & humms as it hovers down our street.
The top of the craft was as high up as the bottom of the second story windows. It appears to be the size of a compact car. It moves passed our house & down our street, then back up into the heavens.
We tried to take a few photos. Unfortunately we wern't able to get anything that looked even remotely close to what we saw with our eyes. It began to ascend into the night sky. It became flat again!
In just a few seconds it disappeared. Back up to the heavens to be seen as a bright star again. This whole scene takes place in about 7-10 minutes.
