Objects over Memphis, 8pm, mostly every night!
8 or 9 crafts, flying higher than airplanes, cigar in shape, some more cylindrical than others, some more pointed on the front end than others. Most of them appeared to have a brighter tail end. All of them were silvery in color. No sound, seemed to just float by. All of them were by themselves in the clear sky, except a pair that were travelling opposite directions came fairly close. Not "dangerous" close, but certainly closer than airplanes fly together.
These objects seem to appear out of thin air and we watch them in the sky until they have gone so far that we can no longer see them. I have made a few other reports this past month and decided that 7:45-8:30pm CDT is the prime time to spot these things. We have witnessed more that we haven't reported because they have all looked the same, appeared the same way, flew casually, etc.
The past few observations we made, tonight included especially once it got around 8:15pm with the sun going down, was that there is a tiny blinking light at the tail end of these crafts towards the top back, although there is no "tail" like there is on an airplane. These objects are perfectly smooth looking in contour, perfect cigar shapes and sometimes cylinder when the tail end looks abruptly "cut off" but still has the slightly tapered nose. Also, there appears to be something stemming off the objects in the middle, coming off the side. Almost like a wing, but certainly not long enough to be a wing. The "stem" off the side isn't even half the size of the craft, not even a fourth of the size and is barely detectable. The only way we can see it is by looking at the perfectly smooth contour of the craft in broad daylight (and sun going down) and you can tell some small object comes off the side of it.
Some of them fly lower than others. All of them fly higher than airplanes. Make zero noise, float along slower than airplanes. Silvery in color, more silver than airplanes. Very pure looking. They fly all directions. This evening a couple flew towards Downtown Memphis, towards Southwestern Memphis, many towards the Frayser area, and some that go straight East from where we are which is towards the Germantown area. These things are at least the length of a football field and you would not notice them at first glance because they are so high and the silvery color blends perfectly with clouds if you're not looking for it and once the sun starts going down, the objects take on that orangish-reddish color, so they are extremely reflective.
We will be getting some tapes for our video camera now. I think we can actually commit to this. You know, I have been envious of people that see these things to what seems to be "all the time" and now that we are, we really don't know how to conduct ourselves. I really wish you guys would send an investigator out here or something. I know somebody else will be able to see them and they have been consistent now. We are going to ask some people if they have some binoculars or anything. Details of these things would be easy to make out with a pair of binoculars. These objects almost look to be inspired by our airplanes, the way the long tube part of it is, except they aren't propelled "forwards" and have no wings and no contrail, of course. We think there may be windows on these things, but we are not sure and are not willing to speculate that, but it certainly looks possible and it certainly looks as though we see these objects once they slow down tremendously from a g! reat speed. We also see tiny "blips" in the sky like things moving so fast we can't see them, but it hasn't been worth mentioning because there's really nothing else to describe but that and that may sound crazy, but you just know there are more than what we can physically see at any given moment.

Oddly enough, there were zero airplanes taking off or landing during all of this and usually seems the case around the same time. We have wondered if the airport picks these up on their radars (they must!) and stops sending flights out around that time and picks back up when we stop seeing them because that's exactly what we see happen. A few airplanes take off at about quarter till 8 and it's usually dead till well after 8:20pm as these objects just float on by, then around 8:30pm the airplanes have their night lights on and are taking off as usual.
