Red glowing orb traveling slowly towards west, then hovering and moving a little east; no camera available; no reports made to other s
It was after we discovered there was not a 4th of July Fireworks Display at Hwy 141 & Big Bend Rd. We drove up to another park, also no fireworks. On Ballas Rd just north of Manchester Rd we witnessed a red, glowing orb-type thing in the sky.
At first thought it was plane or helicopter, but both decided it was neither. It looked like a fireball of sorts. Kind of glowing. Don't think it was a hot air baloon, either. It was odd. Moving towards the west slowly.
We couldn't stop on that particular stretch of road, so had to move on due to traffic.
Unsure if others saw anything. But as we drove south on I 270 towards home, it was still in the same general vicinity. Odd. Didn't think about it until I saw something online about red and white lights in skies!
