2011-06-25 - Lexingon Heights, MI

We were driving east bound on M-25 in Lexington Heights near Blue Water Subdivision. My son spotted a bright orange/copper bright light in the sky, hovering over Lake Huron.

Once i saw it, i knew it was nothing i have never seen before. At the time my son spotted it, it looked like it was stationary.

We quickly pulled down a side road to get a closer look, to the beach to get out and get a better view. We got to a road closest to the beach and spotted it now above land looking west at a stand still.

It started moving at a steady pace moving south west at an angle in the sky. It was under the cloud cover. It then disappeared behind the clouds and we couldn't see it anymore. It was very large and bright.

It happend around 10:00 pm, just before complete dark.

We were very excited and scared all at the same time.

We knew we were lucky to see something that could be a once in a lifetime chance. It was amazing.

I just wonder, who else saw it that night.
