Orange Reddish Orb at first!
It was June 9TH, 2011, and about 10:00 PM - 10:10 PM, when I suddenly saw a bright, glowing Orange and Red orb slightly bigger then the full moon rise upward; seeing it through my living-room window at about a 10:00 o'clock position from a view directly west from where I was sitting.
As I sit there in shock I told my friend who was sitting where he couldn't see the light to come and see this light. By the time he got up and came over to see it, the light was gone out of view.
So we ran outside across a large covered deck and down 3 steps heading east into the driveway. As we both looked up, we both saw this object about 1000 to 1500 feet, based on known cloud cover; in the air straight up from where were standing.
When viewing the object it was totally silent and had 5 light's underneath, 4 bright red lights around a center yellowish dimmer white light in the center. The position of the lights seem to change position slightly as the object raised out of view.
After is was gone completely, I went back into the house and called 911 and reported it the police. They were nice on the phone, 4 minutes later the police knocked on the door and took another report and left saying there was no other reports called in to 911.
Footnote: Other then witnessing the object was completely silent, the lights were so different then any other light's I have ever seen in the sky at night. As I viewed them they had such a high quality clarity, as though they weren't placed for caution but object function.
