White Fireball followed by two fighter jets.
While driving up I-95 near NC/VA border a white fireball seemed to rise straight up from the tree line(3 secs). A faint silvery body seem to be part of the object.
At first the object appeared to be fairly small and close (500 yards or so). The object then changed direction from vertical to horizontal and accelerated east and disappeared(1sec).
First reaction was to ask my wife, "Did you see that?!" The acknowledged she did.
Immediately following the sighting two US FIGHTER aircraft appeared traveling west to east. Both jets were traveling at high speed and very low altitude
