Looking out my living room window at 10:30 pm I noticed a big orange ball of light hovering over the treeline across the street
STRANGE ORANGE LIGHT IN THE SKY
On June 7th, 2011, at approximately 10:30 PM, I looked out my living room window which faces west and above the tree line across the road from where I live I saw a bright orange light that glowed and pulsated slightly. There was no sound that I could hear.
I watched it for a few minutes and then passed it off as the moon and left the window. What seemed strange to me about this light was that it seemed to change shape slightly at one point.
The next night at approximately 10:30 PM, I noticed the moon was in quite a different location in the sky from where the orange object had been the night before. The moon was not full and the orange object from the night before was at least as big as a full moon.
I was approximately 50 yards away from the trees while standing at my window in the house, and the trees are approximately 40 to 50 feet tall. The object I saw shone partly through the tops of the trees and above the trees.
I live in Palermo, New York about 20 miles north of Syracuse, New York.
