Clump of small disc shaped cloud with light green linning hovering here and there in a particular diagonal path across the night sky.
I was on a visit to my cousin's house @ Mirpur, Dhaka. The lights went out around 9 o clock (load-shedding). Hoping for a tempting breeze, I went up to the terrace alone (5TH FLOOR).
As I was roaming around there, I noticed something strange up above.a clump of cloud seemed to be following me...I stopped a while to check it out.
First,I thought I was out of my mind; I even knocked my head, cleansed my eyes, looked it even more closely. It was REAL!! The so called "clump of cloud"/UFO was hovering here & there DIAGONALLY, and sometimes in ZIG-ZAG patterns.
I looked around thinking it was some kind of laser show or light projected by someone below. But believe me,there wasn't. The whole colony was shrouded in black. Some lights were teaming, but NO LIGHT SOURCE COULD HAVE REACHED THAT FAR!! Actually,the "UFO cloud" was really faint. Only if one moved his head a bit aside, then it could be seen flying across that path I told earlier...
Strangely,the cloud had a some kind of a light fluorescent green lining across its body, rather than a silvery one.
After observing it for more than 20 mins, I was sure that I haven't lost my senses. I even hailed my two hands at them, they stopped a while, looking straight at me, but then continued its moving or scanning I should say....
I called upon my cousin, and my little brother. It scared the lights out of 'em.
Then came Dad, even some curious neighbors! They were oblivious about it, despite being educated. Dad was startled to see that UFO flying like that.
He called the BSS (National News Agency) and informed about the sighting. Suddenly, after around 30 mins or so, it vanished into thin air, as if it had finished its job of scanning our land. It was gone. We looked around everywhere, but in vain...
Then again it appeared out of the blue, and disappeared into the dark shrouds of the clouds above. We were left startled....
**N.B- I was convinced that it wasn't a normal clump of cloud because it WAS FOLLOWING A SPECIFIC DIAGONAL PATH,STOPPING TO HOVER AT FREQUENT INTERVALS. IT SEEMED AS IF IT WERE SCANNING THE LAND BELOW IT.IT WAS AROUND 800~900 FEET ABOVE US (BELOW AIRLINE TRACKS). AIRCRAFTS WERE FLYING BUT THEY WERE TOO FAR FROM THE SOURCE TO AFFECT OUR SIGHT. WE HAD A MOBILE CAMERA WITH US BACK THEN BUT IT WAS TOO DIM TO TAKE A SNAP FROM SUCH A HEIGHT.
