I'm writing to you from Dhaka,Bangladesh because of an interesting encounter that my family and I had on the 19th April around 8:30 PM local time. Even though I'm aware of the possibility of intelligent life being out there given the number of galaxies in the universe I'm not exactly a firm believer. So you can imagine our reaction when saw the unbelievable.
The local power station had suddenly caught fire the night before around midnight and a large area that we live in and the surrounding areas as well was left without power. I live in a seven storied apartment in a place called Bashundhara in the capital, Dhaka. My wife, mother and my six year old daugter went up to the roof top to get some fresh air. The surrounding area was almost pitch dark except for the light from the full moon. It was such an amazing view. The sky was absolutely clear and full of stars. My little girl was asking questions about the stars and planets while my wife and my mother were a few feet away from us talking about some family matters.
All of a sudden the particular star that I was poiting out to my daughter vanished right before my eyes and then re-appeared a moment later. To my utter dismay I saw the same thing being repeated time and time again with other stars around it as well. It was as if something was hiding the stars from my view. But the strange thing was that sky was still full of stars and I couldn't see anything that would explain how and why the stars were being blocked from my view.
I called for my wife and mother's attention and pointed it out to them. By this time we saw a HUGE triangular shaped object right on top of us, gliding slowly away from us. It was a triangular object and was lit with lights that resembled the stars in the sky. The object may have been dark in color which may explain why we couldn't see it. Strangely there was no sound whatsoever as it slowly glided away from us. It took the object couple of mintues to glide away in the darkness and out of our sight.
