On March 22 2011, our family was in Seattle Washington, for the weekend. We were staying at the Best Western Executive Inn. Our room was opposite side of the space needle. We were on the 3rd floor looking towards the freeway.
Around 5pm that evening my husband was taking a nap, myself and my 2 children were looking out the window, watching all the aircrafts descending for landing. We were also watching the local king 5 news helicopter taking off and landing.
We watched the helicopter take off and go up and down the free way, and then land. I guess it must have been around 5:45pm - 6pm when I was looking out the window and spotted a strange white/silvery ball to the upper right of the window.
It looked like it was spinning and then a smaller black circle would appear and disappear, in the middle and to the bottom. It was strangely odd. I called my husband over; he saw it...we all saw it. Just then a passenger aircraft passed right under it, a total near miss. Judging by the size of the passenger jet, it was about the size of a car. We watched it for about 5 minutes as it moved from the right of the window, to the left, diagonally going upwards, and into the clouds, then out of the atmosphere.
I did try to take a picture with my iphone, but it couldn’t pick it up. I’m certain we have see a UFO.
I was just wondering if anyone had reported this.
