Vertically descending bright white light in Carmel, CA
On Thursday evening around 7:30 pm I was out on our back deck looking up at the sky. I noticed a very bright white light in distance south east of my position. I could not judge the size or distance of the object but it was very high up and appeared to be descending vertically at smooth and steady rate. I called to my wife and she came out and saw it as well. We watched it until we lost site of it through the trees as it was continuing to descend.
