Mystery 'jets' again over Rhode Island
At 7:10pm this date, I went outside to look around as my dog started barking at something outside. I took my flashlight and my dog to look around; not seeing anything I stayed out in the cold fresh air for a bit, looking at the stars.
At 7:40pm I heard the unmistakable deep rumble of the same craft that visited my town last year at almost the exact same day and time. I kept looking up until I spotted this single pulsating red light flying SE to NW, which is opposite the flight pattern of planes flying into the airport. This direction is the same flight direction these craft took last year, but last year they flew just over the roof tops of houses where I did at that time get a good look at them...they were NOT conventional jets. The craft I saw tonight, with the same deep rumble/roar, much louder than a conventional jet, were merely a red pulsing light each. The first craft, flying at about 10,000 feet I would guess, flew at about the same speed as a jet! However, there was no conventional flying lights, just the single pulsing red light.
After the first went over, about 4 minutes later, two more came over, flying at the same speed and altitude and direction as the first, one in back of the other, with the same deep rumbling roar. The loud roar lasted well after the craft had flown over my house and headed NW. These were NOT conventional jets, in spite of the cover story on local TV news last year to quell the public's alarm. They were not F-16s as reported. Even the news man reporting was noticeably nervous and quick in his dialogue when reporting live on Channel 10 TV last year. Obviously, somebody told whoever or whatever is flying these things to stay higher up in the sky and not do acrobatic moves a few hundred feet over peoples' houses.
Wondering if anyone else has seen these things....very weird, I'd say.
