Triangle craft in Watson, la. Traveling over a field and then crossed the hwy. and vanished.
On January 15th at 8:00 pm I was heading south on hwy. 16 one mile past hwy. 63 in Watson, la which is 30 minutes outside of baton rouge, la. I noticed up ahead some red lights that I had never seen there before and I travel this road quite often. At first I thought it was a cell phone tower . But something didn’t seem right about it. There were two red lights together to the east over a field. But as I approached I realized a v formation of lights off over the hwy. as well. With the point of the v facing west. so it couldn’t be a tower. It had been over the hwy. the whole time as I was approaching, it seemed to be hovering. I pulled off onto the shoulder and stopped the car.
I watched the lights pass in front of me from east to west. It was dark and very cloudy and I thought they were separate lights but then noticed some connection between them, so it must have been lights on the bottom of a triangle shaped craft. The lights were red and solid. Above the red lights were smaller lights either white or light colored. These lights were either flashing or spinning above the red ones. I rolled my window down to hear the sound , but there was total silence. The craft must have been between 150-200 ft. above, I could see it’s size fairly well. I’m not good at judging distance in the sky , so this is only a guess and could be way off. But it was close not way off in the distance.
Once the craft crossed the hwy. It just vanished !! I thought it might be hidden in the clouds and kept watching to see if it would reappear in the breaks of the clouds but it was gone like it never existed. Another car coming from the opposite direction had pulled over as well and watched as this craft traveled across the hwy. I drove down the street a bit, turned around and came back to see if maybe it was still up there somewhere and the other car did the same thing. I did not approach the other car because I was alone and I’m a woman and it’s night and not much around.
The following sat. night I was visiting my friend in Watson two miles exactly from where I had seen this craft a week earlier. We were sitting inside and the power flickered. I looked at the clock. It was 8 pm. The exact time I saw the craft last week. I later learned that almost all of Watson had a black out. A transformer went out. There were no storms. Who knows, maybe it was caused by this craft. Maybe it was still out there.
I reported this to the newspaper but they said they had a policy now that they can’t publish articles on ufo”s anymore. The tv stations said they would have to have a video of it in order to air it and the radio station t .
