UFO sighting Vancouver, WA December 5th, 2010.
My mother and I were driving East on SR 500, and we stopped at the light on Stapleton Avenue when we noticed several "planes" flying in very (very) close proximity to one another, which we both thought was odd. It was dusk, but there was still an inkling of light left in the sky. I pointed out that they were very bright, and were traveling oddly slow, and I noticed a familiar formation I had seen in some UFO conspiracy videos.
rying not to be immediately critical, we both concentrated on them for another moment when all of a sudden, another appeared as if a light had just been turned on in the sky. We were both so shocked by the way it appeared, we were screaming in the car.
At the time, it was nearing the end of rush hour, but there was still a good amount of traffic. We looked around to see if anyone else had noticed, when the traffic light turned green. We drove home quickly and brought our friend out to see the lights in the sky. He agreed that, "there was a lot of air traffic in such a small area of the sky." We had never seen airplanes fly this closely together, unless they were in a USO show.
As most of them very slowly faded south/southwest, one or two of them came almost directly overhead of us, just about one or two miles north. From there we could make out five bright lights on the bottom side of one of them, one in the front, and two sets of two behind that, in an "A" or "V" shape. We also all noticed it made little or no noise, although it was somewhat blustery that day, so we didn't think it was TOO strange, but just a little. Either way, we were all very shocked by what we saw, and we still can't explain anything we saw that day, besides saying they were definitely NOT airplanes.
Also, curious to see if there were any reports, we found a news report from that same day, just hours before in Nixa, Missouri, saying they also saw something strange in the background of a report that had been given.

Their explanation at the very end is not convincing though. We are still baffled.
