Twenty bright red lights moving from west to east.
Very bright red lights moving from west to east at a moderate speed. Objects were probably under 10,000 feet. All objectsd were in a band of 15 degrees or less. Average distance between the objects was from about 7 to 15 degrees. Objects would pass apex and then disapear. One object split into two on the assent. I was driving home when objects were viewed. A friend of neighbor was viewing same objects from diveway when arriving home. However, nothing was in paper the next day. Did not have my cell phone in car.
Have been amature astronomer for 12 years and have never seen anything similiar. Objects made no noise.
