A black object with strobing red/orange lights seen over San Diego.
We heard our neighbors yelling outside. My daughter and I went out to see what the commotion was. Our two neighbors and the mailman were watching an object in the sky that was unidentifiable. My daughter and I finally sighted it and the 5 of us watched it for approximately 3 minutes. It was very high in the sky and was black. We noted one light, then the light became a series of lights strobing apparently around the object. The lights were a red/orange color. A jet coming into Lindburgh field flew beneath it. The object was coming in from the south-west heading into an easterly direction. It made a course correction to a northerly direction. The last we saw of it, it appeared to be starting to go to the east once again. It appeared to be getting lower in the sky and going faster.
