2010-11-11 - Boca Raton, FL - Light

Orange moving lights over Boca Raton night sky.

Driving north onto Camino Del Mar from SW 18th street to the south around 8pm - my eye was distracted from the road to the western sky.

I was seeing about 13 orange colored lights moving slowly NE in an unconnected formation of a zig zag almost fork - like design of moving lights against the black sky - with no sound. I parked at home around the corner and looked again trying to take video with my phone but the sky was too dark.

Another resident (don't know his name) came up and mentioned to me that he was trying to take pictures also. It was a startling sight in a large space of the night sky and when I got back to my 5th floor apt I tried to see it again but all I could see was a smudge of light much further to the light and don't know what that was.

It was not flares or meteors or any accidental moving objects - they seemed to be intelligently directed and departed from view at the same time.
