2010-11-03 - Lake Havasu City, AZ - Light

Large amber lights, split in two, and disappeared

While at my sons baseball practice, I looked over toward the Southeast Mountains of Lake Havasu City, when I saw a bright amber light which appeared to get brighter changing from red to white and then amber again, then disappeared. It reappeared several miles to the west then became bright then out again. It did this one more time, but the third time when it became bright, it split into two, with one moving very quickly to the left. It did so on a horizontal line, and it was much too fast and too bright for its distance to be a plane.
