Bright round objects spotted over Fayetteville during Ark/Ole miss game during a severe apporaching storm on 10/23/10

While watching the Arkansas Ole Miss game in Fayetteville on Saturday My wife and I along with my daughter and her boyfriend watched an approaching storm in the sowthwestern sky and say shinny round objects floating out from what appeared to be far over the mountains/horrizon and float up towards the sky to the west/north west. They seemed to float and we strikingly shinny/bright against the black storm cloud of the approaching storm. There were three game delays and it was announched that the storms were severe containing hail and high winds. I thought the weather service may have been releasing weather ballons into the sky. The floated in succession at close intervals and each one took about 2-3 minutes to be sucked up into the storm. There were at least eight of these that we saw. The game still had 25,000 people at is so many more had to notice this event.
