10/1/10 James Island Connector V-shaped aircraft hovering over the JI Connector at 8: 12 pm
Let me note briefly that what I witnessed was some type of aircraft unknown to me. The reason I’m reporting this is because it was so strange and there were multiple witnesses that must have seen this plane hovering over the JI Connector.
I was driving over the James Island connect from West Ashley towards Folly beach. The time was exactly 8:12pm October 1st/2010. There was a ton of traffic going to and from James Island tonight. As I’m driving I notice to my left a V shaped plane/helicopter with small white lights going down the sides of the V, there was one light at the tip of the V and then probably 4 or 5 smaller lights which pointed down the left and right side of the V. In the middle of the V was a single blinking white light which blinked much like a normal airplane light except instead of the light being on the two tips of the wings, this blinking light was in the middle of this V. The shape was very similar to a military stealth bomber; that was my fight thought. Normally I would say "damn that’s a weird airplane/helicopter" and keep driving; however this V shaped plane/helicopter was literally hovering over the JI connector. It was completely stagnate, it was as if it was motionless, hovering literally over what must have been 50 to 60 cars going to and from, over the JI connector.
It was so odd and so silent and completely motionless. Looking back, I keep thinking no commercial or private plane would be able to fly so close over a US HWY. Maybe it was some type of balloon; yet it seem to have mass and a such an unusual patter of lights. I don’t know what this was but I know for a fact many people saw this.
If anyone else is reporting on this V plan/helicopter please let me know your thoughts.
