Soundless hovering airplane
I work close to the north Dallas tollway and LBJ Freeway. Last Friday, I had exited the parking garage and turned onto Harvest Hill Road when I looked up. I saw an airplane which was very low; I thought it was about to land. Then I realized it was not moving nor was it making any sound. It was not hovering the way a Harrier jet does - it was as if it were frozen in place. I was even more astonished to realize no one else seemed to be paying attention. Let me repeat: it was the afternoon rush hour on a Friday.
