Glowing Sphere over Eagle Rock, CA
I woke up between 3:45am-4:00am on September 18, 2010 and saw a glowing object in the sky.
It did not seem to be more than a half mile above the Eagle Rock Plaza mall, on Colorado Blvd, in Eagle Rock, CA. I thought this was a significant location since the mall parking lot was empty, and illuminated by lights and painted lines on the concrete, almost like a landing runway.
It was glowing yellow, and flying very fast from west to east.
There was no sound, and the object moved faster than a plane, which generally appears to fly at a steady pace which can be tracked in the sky.
This object moved as fast as a baseball thrown, and no noise was evident, as a plane or helicopter would, and was unlike anything I’ve seen.
A striking characteristic was how it moved in the sky. It moved in a very deliberate manner, slightly jaunty, as if surging and exploratory, not with a real sense of direction.
Since it was so unusual and captivating, it was similar to seeing a rare, strange animal, with its color and movements.
