I was outside BBQ and as always I tend to look up at the night sky a lot because I have seen two UFO’s in the past. It just so happened that on this evening I was looking towards the NW form my backyard and noticed a light in the distance going back and forth, up and down in a zigzag pattern. I live near Midway Airport and I could see the planes in the distance and the object that I saw did not have the distinct green and red flashing tail and wing lights? To my amazement to lasted around five minutes.
After it was no longer visible to the naked eye, I noticed a bright white light further west and much higher in the sky moving east slowly, again no indication airplane flashing lights as I looked at it through by binoculars. I followed it in the sky for about a minute before it suddenly disappeared right before my eyes. Needless to say to sky was completely clear and there was no moon out either.
This was one of the best UFO sightings I have seen yet.
