2010-09-05 - Reed's Beach, NJ - Rectangle

The shadow of a UFO passed over us under a clear blue sky.

I was sitting on the sand at Reed’s Beach, Cape May county, New Jersey, looking out toward Delaware Bay. It was around 1:30 pm on Sunday, September 5, 2010.

I had noticed shadows of several gulls on the sand,. Each time when I saw a shadow I would look up and a gull would be flying overhead. The sun was shining, the sky was bright blue and there were no clouds near me.

Then an enormous shadow loomed above us on the sand - it seemed to swoop with purpose like a machine of some sort. The shadow appeared to be rectangular and in shape like a huge construction beam or a reaper blade- it appeared 10’ wide and at least 30’ long.

It startled me and I looked up but saw nothing. There was no noise but I felt it was extremely powerful and contained great force.

The entire incident lasted two to three seconds. The shadow passed over me and continued down toward the water.
