Orange orb over Cincinnati
We were sitting on our neighbor's deck watching the big Labor Day fireworks display down on the Ohio River in Cincinnati. Toward the end of the show my sister, husband and I noticed a bright orange orb come from the northwest heading east very slowly and then stop to the south west near the city.
We thought it might be a helicopter but it was really high in the sky and there was no noise.
After the fireworks show was over it stayed there for several minutes and then seemed to be going higher and higher into the sky until it simply faded away completely.
