Black oval shape w/heat waves visible over 5 freeway in Silverlake
On the morning of August 30, 2010, I was taking pictures of the beautiful sunrise in LA, looking southeast from my balcony toward Eagle Rock and the 5 freeway. I took 15-20 pics every couple of minutes as the sun broke through the clouds.
The following morning I downloaded the pics off the camera and saw this black, oval object toward the right of the clouds that I did not see while taking the pictures. It only appeared in this one picture so I am CERTAIN it is not a dust speck on the lens. I can see heat waves around it.
Also, I am pretty sure it’s not a helicopter. They fly over all the time and I hear them.
This was a silent morning, except for the freeway sounds below.
