Red non blinking light traveling past two aircraft west to north east
On 07-12-2010, at approximately 0225 hours, while on patrol in the County of Montezuma, observed a red non blinking light to the north west.
Event lasted approximately 5 minutes and the red light passed two aircraft.
Light traveled from approximately the constellation Bootes, Star (Arcturus) to the Big Dipper, Star (Merak) then continued to the north east over the horizon.
During the transition the red light was overtaken by two blinking white and red lights, possibly commercial airlines, which were traveling in the same line west to east following each other. Night sky clear, temperature approximately 58 degrees, visibility unlimited.
