Red lights in shape of horseshoe moving across sky
Object appeared suddenly in the eastern sky. At first, I thought it might be some kind of a fireworks rocket that was ready to explode as it was the 4th of July weekend. However, it started moving in a north westerly direction. I followed it until it was no longer in my range of sight. It appeared to have red lights that did not blink in the shape of a horseshoe and from I could gather there were seven lights. I was high in the sky and I did not hear any type of engine noise.
