Cigar shape object, is it a drone?
March 4th, 2012 Mr. Davenport, I live in Canada, province of Quebec, in the town of Mont Laurier.
In early morning of April the 13th 2010 in a clear blue sky i saw a flying object, that i didnt recognized as being an aiplane. It didnt make any sound and it flew right above the houses of my neighborhood and since i never knew what to think of it i am writing to have your opinion.
I would like to excuse the poor quality of this 38 seconds video since i had all the difficulty in the world to make a decent focus on this object in the distance. I had just recently purchased my camera , a power shot a 1000 from Canon at the time i videotaped this. Not knowing videofilms cant be turned vertically.In the video the first 7 to 10 seconds many sounds you will be hearing are from trucks and cars traffic in the street aside from the crows.
Through the years many times a week i have heard helicopters fly over my house in that neighborhood ( i have moved since last year) and unless I am making a mistake (which i very well could be) i think i can recognized the sound of an helicopter. It is very loud.
Recently, i heard on national radio that Quebec Province had no drones aloud to fly over populations. It was said that only Ontario had those in activity for special crime search or ecological disasters research. Since the borders are not far from where i live it could very well be coming from the Province next door.
My question is , could it be a drone? Aside from an helicopter or anything else? Thank you for you time.
