Bright golden spherical object that seemed to be burning with pieces falling from it.
My son noticed this (object?) through his bedroom window and screamed for me to come and look. It looked like a very large star, golden yellow in colour. Pieces of it appeared to be falling away. It looked like it was something burning in the sky. It gradually moved out of sight getting smaller until it disappeared.
