Long cigar shaped object that flashed through the night sky
I was outside smoking a cigarette from 1:30 - 1:45am out on my deck while trying to get my cat inside when I saw a quick flash of light to the east and when I looked up I saw nothing. I kept looking in the direction of the flash and within 2 min of seeing the flash I noticed a long, narrow cigar shaped object jet across the sky silently and very, very fast. It left behind a slight trail of light and was gone like that! Never before have I seen anything like this before. It was a clear night also. The only thing I can reference the shape to was a cigar.
