Craft appeared to bounce close to ground before shooting straight up into the sky and has been stationary for an hour+.
I got a call at approximately 23:56. My friends were surf fishing on the beach. They told me to look out over the water and I would see what looked like a star with a flashing light circling it and I did.
My friend then told me that he saw the craft “bounce” around the local fishing pier and then shoot up into the sky where it has been stationary for over an hour now. None of us have a telescope but with my binoculars it looks like a “star” with a blinking white light and blue light circling it. Also, for the first 20 minutes the main light seemed to pulse becoming intensely brighter and then dimmer. Now it seems to stay more consistently at the dimmer light.
I will post another report in the morning if it is still in the same spot as it does not seem to be moving with the rest of the stars.
